Privacy Policy
Conservation Voters of BC (CVBC) is committed to maintaining your trust and confidence. The following privacy policy is designed to protect personal information you provide on our website. Please take the time to read this policy. Your right to privacy is very important to us.
Collecting Personal Information
The purpose of our website is to educate, inform and connect with the public about opportunities to make the environment a significant issue in BC politics. When you visit this site and access information, you are anonymous. We do not require you to provide personal information to view it.
However, when you take action or subscribe to our email list, we will ask for additional information. We do this to keep in touch with you through email and provide you with information and action opportunities on issues that may be of interest to you.
Use of Information
Conservation Voters of BC never trades or sells email addresses. We use them to provide you with information and action opportunities. You may stop receiving email at any time by unsubscribing.
Postal codes are collected to allow CVBC to know where in the province there may be people interested in the work we do. Occasionally we may have information or action opportunities of interest to people in specific regions, and postal codes allow us to generally know where people are without needing full addresses.
Policy Updates and Changes
Because of the fast-changing nature of the online medium and the world around us, CVBC may change this policy from time to time. Changes may occur without warning and they will be reflected on this page.
Links
To provide users with more information on various issues, we often provide links to third-party websites. However, we do not control those websites or necessarily endorse their viewpoints.
