Lee Ann Johnson - Gibsons Council

Lee Ann Johnson picLee Ann Johnson has been on the Gibsons  Council,  “The World’s Most Liveable Town”,  for two terms. She is currently the chair of the Infrastructure Services Committee and Alternate Director to the Sunshine Coast Regional District. She has been Chair of Planning and Community Services Committees, Gibsons Library Trustee and Town liaison to the Library and Museum Boards.

Lee Ann volunteers with Friends of Forage Fish, a project to identify surf smelt and sand lance egg laying sites on local beaches. She is an advocate for “smart” land use planning and infrastructure that will improve the Town’s ability to cope with rising sea levels, increased storm intensity, extended summer droughts and other effects of climate change.
